Volunteer Coordinators Council (VCC) is a group of nonprofit professionals in Lincoln that exist to support each other with networking and resources they need to effectively mobilize our community. 

HOW IT WORKS:

Membership is FREE and easy! The only costs associated are for staff of agencies who are not members of Cause Collective.  We only charge $10 per rountable/person for non-member agency staff. The VCC hosts four discussion based roundtables each year, that feature a guest or topic related to civic engagement. 

Other benefits include:

• Eligibility for a scholarship of up to $500 (more information below);
• Periodic email updates and new regarding VCC conferences and other relevant updates;
• Access to the private VCC Facebook networking page
   

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?

If you work for a nonprofit within Lancaster County and part or the whole of your job is assisting volunteers (e.g. managing, recruiting, training, etc) within your agency, you are welcome to join the Volunteer Coordinators Council.

VCC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION:

As of January 1^st 2020 we are excited to offer our Volunteer Coordinator Council Professional Development Scholarships for VCC members.

VCC members are now eligible for financial scholarships, up to $500, for conferences, certifications or memberships. For more information and to apply, CLICK HERE

Quarterly VCC Roundtable
VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS UNITE!​

Beginning in January 2023, the primary event of the Volunteer Coordinators Council will shift from regular trainings to a quarterly roundtable, held on the third Thursday of the month from 4-5:30pm. These roundtables will include both a guided conversation on a topic of interest, along with a period for networking and general discussion.

Join us to discuss the world of corporation volunteer management with special guest Cathy Plager from Serve Nebraska! Snacks and drinks will be provided.
